This is my first post of the year 2021, and just like many first posts of a year it will have resolutions but unlike ‘normal resolutions’ this year's are bound to be different.
Why will they be different? They will be different since they come after a year that has had mixed feelings, a year of learning, a year of losses and gains, a year of both the good and the bad.

The past year has stretched not only me but most of the world, we have been forced not only to learn different things but also to do things differently.
The purpose of life is reinventing one true self, I have come to be a firm believer of this not only because I heard the line in a motivational video but because it makes a lot of sense, think about it - life is all about experiences. From a child growing up, schooling, being an adult, career and relationships, to live you have to adopt to the changes in the environment otherwise you perish. All that is human must retrograde if it does not advance, in your personal self, your social life, your career/profession and most important of all in your business – you have to continuously change to grow.

This year’s resolutions will be different since they come from a point of reflection, true reflection on all the events and experiences that have brought me to this point. We are a sum of all the decisions we make prior and they true reflection of self. Depending on how you are, you may either be successful, unsuccessful or work in progress towards either end. Upon reflection on the past a lot will be revealed, good things and bad things, smiles and frowns, regrets and successes. Naturally when things are not ideal we tend to fixate on the regrets, asking ourselves WHY? Why we made such poor decisions and unfortunately the question WHY will never lead to any progress but rather feed you into the endless loop of excuses and explanations, deflecting all responsibility.
This year, the resolutions will be different since they are not about making promises but rather asking how one can build character from the experiences with the questions beginning with WHAT? What can I learn from poor career choices? What can I learn from poor relationship choices? What can I learn from poor business decisions? What can I do to be better? you get the drift? What can you learn from your past to make better decisions?
What can I learn from last years’ experience to make my life better this New Year? How can I reinvent myself?
Use this and make your list.
